The Jeep_® Gladiator continues to deliver unparalleled capability, style, and versatility with its 2023 model. It even exceeds previous notions with style updates, a special limited-edition model, and modern technologies for safety and entertainment.

Model lineup

The 2023 Jeep_® Gladiator lineup gives you a choice among four well-equipped trim levels - Sport, Overland, Mojave, and Rubicon. It also offers a limited-run Freedom Special Edition. The special edition features an Oscar Mike badge on the tailgate, body-color fender flares, steel rock rails, and black wheels. LED headlamps and fog lamps provide a stylish and functional suite of lighting. Each side of the pickup truck has an American flag decal. Black accent stitching and leather-trimmed cloth seats offer a sophisticated and comfortable interior.

Design options

There is a long list of available exterior color options already for the Jeep_® Gladiator including bold, brilliant hues such as Firecracker Red, Hydro Blue, Sarge Green, and Granite Crystal. The 2023 model adds High Velocity Yellow to the color roster. The new yellow hue is a first for the Gladiator and it replaces the color Snazzberry.

The interior offers three color schemes for a luxe look - Black, Heritage Tan, and Steel Gray.

Capability and power

The 2023 Gladiator returns to deliver impressive capability to suit your adventurous lifestyle. When properly equipped with the available Max Towing Package, the truck can tow a maximum weight of 7,700 pounds. It also offers a payload capacity of 1,710 pounds with the 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine.

Fun tech

Even when you're heading off the grid, you still need to stay connected. The 2023 Gladiator utilizes the fourth-generation Uconnect® system. It offers smartphone integration via Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.

New for 2022

For the latest model year, the Jeep® Gladiator boasts a range of updated technologies and a few new conveniences. The Sport model has replaced its previous Uconnect® 3 system with a new Uconnect® 4 infotainment setup. The Overland, Rubicon, and Mojave models now come equipped with Uconnect® 4C, as well as built-in navigation technology and a nine-speaker Alpine audio system. This trio of trims also gained Remote Proximity Keyless Entry for easy access to your vehicle. 

On top of these new tech features, the Gladiator now comes standard with a cabin air filter that eliminates 95 percent of particles, such as pollen, bacteria, and pollution. This Trail Rated® truck also traded its Billet Silver exterior paint option for the new Silver Zynith color.

Power and capabilities

The Gladiator comes standard with a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine that provides 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Thanks to that power, it offers 1,700 pounds of payload and 7,650 pounds of towing capacity when equipped with the Max Towing Package. It pairs with a standard six-speed manual transmission, but you can opt for an available TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic. 

For more power, you can upgrade to the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 dynamo, which pumps out 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. It channels all that power through an eight-speed automatic TorqueFlite transmission that's been specially tuned to work well with low-RPM shifts.

Exterior features

Thanks to its signature round headlamps, trapezoid wheel flares, and seven-slot keystone grille, the Gladiator sports iconic Jeep styling alongside the versatility of a pickup truck. Get closer to nature with the Gladiator's removable doors with exposed hinges, along with a removable tops and a fold-down windshield.

Plus, you can put your own spin on the Gladiator by choosing between nine eye-catching colors, ranging from classic options like Bright White, Firecracker Red, and Sting Gray, to colorful choices like Sarge Green, Hydro Blue, and Snazzberry.

Off-road capabilities

From bumper to bumper, the Gladiator is built for off-road adventures. With a ground clearance of 11.1 inches and up to 30 inches of water fording capabilities, it's designed to conquer the toughest trails. Plus, you can drive confidently thanks to its available industry-first FOX® front hydraulic jounce bumpers, body-on-frame design, rugged 33-inch tires, and its Rock-Trac Full-Time transfer case.

Inside, the Gladiator proves that you don't have to sacrifice power and capability for comfort. It offers a range of available interior comfort features, including dual-zone automatic climate control, LED interior lighting, rear under-seat storage, and lockable rear behind-seat storage.
